Following on with the charger theme from last week, I will be discussing the invention of the phone charger that uses solar energy. There are many different versions out there right now but the one that I want to share with you is the XDModo solar charger this is because it has one feature that differentiates it from the rest.

The device is 0.68 inches thick and unlike other brands this product can be stuck onto the inside of a glass window so that as long as it is sunny outside the photovoltaic panels are constantly absorbing energy without much interference. The body of the product has an abs casing and a PV panel surrounding by silicone pads. On the base there are two ports – a USB and a mini USB port for compatibility. There are over-charge and over-heating protection built in. There's an LED charge indicator on the bottom edge which lights red when charging and green when the battery is full. It is also light weight and therefore pocket friendly.
