First class of our Form and Colour Module had us working in small groups to create as much interesrting shapes as we can. Our ony materials were; 18 wooden beams with hooks on either end; and pieces of wire.
This was really intersting as we had to think about making it stable in ways that didnt use the classic repetion of triangular shapes.

My team and I ended up creating shapes within shapes.
Then as a class we moved outside and tried to make the tallest tower we could. We decided to play it safe and create a pyramid that way it was stirdy and wouldn't reach a height that the tallest person in our class couldn't safely reach and adjust. By the end we had on piece extra.
The next challenge was alot more interesting and fun(ny) as well as the hardest.

How do we take it apart enough to flat pack it and bring it inside, up one two flights of stairs and set it up exactly as it was? We argued about this quite abit. Trying not to take it apart completely we had to find the points that supported it most. It was decided that the smartest way, would be to cut the point and the top half should just collapse into the bottom half.
It Did Not Work.
